TICO Solutions Ltd (a division of Tiflex) are a Specialised UK Manufacturer of noise and vibration isolation solutions for buildings and machinery. TICO are able to create bespoke formulations to enable their products to meet the most stringent of performance requirements. They have the capability to produce what you want rather than a standard set of products. The TICO range of products can be incorporated within new and existing building projects and include Impact Attenuation Pads, Structural & Slide bearings and Resilient Seatings

TICO offer a diverse and personalised product design service, working with Clients to formulate initial product briefs, seeing the developed products right through the design, testing, and manufacturing process.

In this presentation Philip Mohan will run through details of past projects and outline the full calculation process for vibration isolation for applications in the Construction Industry.

Philip Mohan’s first trained as a Hydraulic Engineer, picking up a HNC in Mechanical Engineering in the 1980’s. After 10years with Atlas Copco, in 1990 he joined Stanley Tools in their specialist hydraulic tooling division. In 1998 he moved to Siderise in Suffolk, a leading manufacturer and supplier of thermal and acoustic materials. Philip gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Acoustics in 2003 and became a member of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA). From 2002 to 2022, he worked with multiple manufacturers, delivering advanced acoustic and vibration isolation solutions across sectors ranging from generator set manufacturing to the bus industry. More recently he has focused on R&D for the construction sector, developing innovative material solutions. He now works for TICO, Tiflex. In 2025, he was honoured to be invited to join the Noise and Vibration Engineering Group within the IOA, further contributing his expertise to the advancement of the field.
