Description
A free to attend family-friendly event held in the centre of Peterborough on the 1st October 2017.
Peterborough STEM Festival is celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics inspired by Ada Lovelace Day.
Our mission is to provide a day of fun activities to celebrate and to experience the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics – a free event to attend, designed especially for families and young people.
Encourage. Inspire. Develop.
Exciting activities include:
- Interactive treasure hunt with prizes
- Hands-on science with CHaOS (handy engineering, prism googles, IR webcams, and rocks and fossils)
- Minecraft build challenges
- History of computing and women in computing
- Raspberry Pi workshops with PetRasJam
- Become a coding ninja with some professional developers
- Experience virtual and augmented reality sessions
- Design and build your own rockets
- Robotics with the students from GPUTC
- Forensic science and CSI activities with PRC
- Experience some engineering activities with the RAF and the British Army
- Build a cloud with our main sponsors Anglian Water

Workshop Tickets
Workshop session tickets will be released closer to the event date and only those intending to participate require a ticket. Under 16 year olds must be accompanied by a chaperone at a workshop. Spectators or chaperones do not require a workshop ticket. A General Admission ticket must be held in addition to any workshop tickets.
Marketplace
There will also be an opportunity to purchase the latest Raspberry Pi kits from PetRasJam, rocket kits from Model Rocket Shop along with some fun STEM Festival merchandise.

By ordering Peterborough STEM Festival tickets, you are agreeing to abide by our Code of Conduct.
Please ensure everyone in your party over the age of 3 has a General Admission ticket. Children aged 3 years and under do not require a ticket. All children must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
Please note: You must have a general entry ticket IN ADDITION to any workshop tickets.
