About the organiser
My rescue pug Betty is a volunteer for Pets as Therapy. We’re organising an event with fellow therapy dogs to help raise money for the charity but also as a way for other dog lovers across London to come together and form friendships.
Once a week we visit a local care home so the residents can have a cuddle with Betty as many must give up their pets when they move in.
We started volunteering after the pandemic when I could see how isolated some people were during this dark time.
We meet so many lovely Londoners when we're out and about in London. People often stop to chat and it’s through this shared love of dogs, that we want to host this event. We hope you can join us!
Frequently asked questions
You'll find us in the conservatory space on the ground floor at the back of the house, overlooking the tea lawn and next to the cafe. Signs will direct you on the day.
The nearest tube to the venue is Archway or Highgate tube on the northern line. The 210, 310, 134 and 263 buses all stop outside the venue.
Free parking is available on the streets surrounding the venue.
It goes without saying that we love dogs but due to limited space we are unable to accommodate any additional furry friends.
