Rationale

This workshop is designed to help staff choose an appropriate teaching development scheme for their needs and to help them consider the options for professional recognition available to them.

Objectives

The session will offer guidance on

  • Eligibility for the PG Cert

  • Practical matters, including registration, participation and assessment.

Pre-requisites

There are no pre-requisites for this session.

Session outline

During the workshop we will cover the essential points of the PG Cert and is aimed at colleagues who will be joining the programme at the next intake in September. The session consists of a presentation with opportunities throughout for participants to ask questions.

We will normally be able to run any workshop from our current programme for groups of five or more staff at any University site, provided that we have reasonable notice of the request.
