Join us for PGR Social Badminton, hosted by UGS Scholars Cam and Dani!
Come join our inaugural badminton social for some active fun followed by hot drinks at the café! This event is open to absolutely all skill levels, even if you've never heard of badminton before, and all equipment will be provided. Just show up with some athletic clothes and trainers!
The event will take place at Slater Hall inside Sport and Fitness, but we'll plan to meet in the Sport and Fitness lobby at 10:50 and then head to Slater Hall together. If you arrive late, simply ask for Slater Hall at the reception of Sports & Fitness. We have the courts booked from 11 to noon, then we'll head to Costa café afterwards for some hot drinks on us. Make sure to RSVP on this page to secure your spot!
Come and join us for an informal badminton session - all abilities and levels are welcome! Racquets and Shuttles are provided at the venue, and we recommend wearing something comfortable. We can't wait to meet you!

This event is open only to University of Birmingham postgraduate researchers (PGR).
PGR programmes include: MPhil, MMus, MRes, MA by Research, MSc by Research, MLitt, PhD, PhD with integrated study, EngD, DDS, MD, Higher doctorates and Professional doctorates.
Registration will close 30 mins before the event start time or when tickets are sold out. We will be checking attendees against the Eventbrite registration and you may be refused entry if we have met capacity and you are not on the list. We have limited capacity so please cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend.
