PGT Shut Up and Work
Event Information
Event description
An supportive, online working environment for PGT students
About this Event
The University Graduate School supports postgraduates at the University of Birmingham. We offer a variety of academic, social and wellbeing activities throughout the year, as well as career development opportunities.
Who said studying needs to be a solitary experience? Our virtual Shut up & Work sessions help you to work more productively in a supportive remote environment.
Join us throughout the year to get your head down and work: we use target-setting and breaks to hold ourselves accountable and beat procrastination.
Please join the session with a task of work to complete over the three hours, and everything you might need in terms of study resources and materials. You are welcome to sign up to as many sessions as you like!
Sign up here, and you will be sent the Zoom details 30 minutes before the event starts - these emails can end up in junk folders, so check them! If you do not receive this email, please contact Elizabeth O'Connor at e.r.oconnor@bham.ac.uk.
Please note that registration closes an hour before the event: you are welcome to join short-notice, but please contact Elizabeth directly for the Zoom link.
This session welcomes students on the following postgraduate courses in 2020-21: MA, MSc, MBA, MEd, LLM, MPH, Maths SKE, MPA, PG Affiliate, PG Certificate, PG Dip Ed, PG Diploma, and PGCE. It is open to students at the University of Birmingham only.
Any other questions, please contact Elizabeth O'Connor e.r.oconnor@bham.ac.uk or the University Graduate School.
