About this event
Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic pharmacies have been and continue to be on the front line of supporting communities across the country in dealing with the health emergency. Join Dr Jenny Scott from the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology in conversation with award winning and 2021 New Year’s Honour List recognised community pharmacist Ade Williams in this topical Minerva lecture. They will discuss the role pharmacies can play in finding solutions to complex health and wellbeing challenges and how they can help empower and engage communities to address the health inequalities they face.
This lecture will take place online via Zoom. You can join the live online lecture between 18:00 and 19:00 GMT on Wednesday 23 March 2022 by registering via Eventbrite. A link will be emailed to you before the event allowing you to view the lecture via Zoom - no account is required.
