Are you enjoying your studies so far? Trying to decide what to do after graduating? Have you considered further study?
About this event
In this informal, online event we'll discuss how to work out if you'd like to apply for further study, the application process and PhD interviews. There will also be a time of Q&A with female PhD students - you can ask questions live or submit them when you register (in which case they will be answered anonymously).
This event is run by the St Andrews Piscopia Society, which aims to encourage female and non-binary students to pursue PhDs in the mathematical sciences. The target audience is female and non-binary maths students, but anyone interested is welcome to attend.
It will be held on Teams and a link to access this will be sent to attendees before the event.
What to expect:

- How to figure out if you'd like to apply for a postgraduate course? (10 mins)
- Overview of the PhD application process (10 mins)
- Tips for preparing for PhD interviews (10mins)
- Q&A with female PhD students (20 mins)
