Our campus PhD Open Evening is the best way to help you find out what makes a successful PhD application and how to fund postgraduate research. You’ll hear from our academic staff in panel discussions, get to meet current postgraduate researchers, and ask any questions you have about the reality of life as postgraduate researcher.
At the Open Evening you can:
- hear from Sussex academics as they discuss what they look for in successful PhD applications
- join a Q&A with current postgraduate researchers as they discuss their experiences of PhD life and life at Sussex and in Brighton
- get practical advice from our expert staff to make your application to Sussex stand out
- meet university staff and talk one to one about careers, admissions, funding and student support.
Our Open Evening takes place on our Brighton campus from 5pm to 8.30pm.
Travel options
Our campus is well connected by public transport, including buses and trains.
If you’re driving, you can use parking spaces on campus but please add your vehicle’s registration number when completing the contact information questions. If you do not do this you will need to pay for parking on arrival.
