Phil Redmond has had a stellar career in television, being responsible for groundbreaking programmes such as Grange Hill, Brookside and Hollyoaks.
A great philanthropist and public servant, Phil has been instrumental in many regeneration projects on Merseyside including Liverpool’s year as European City of Culture in 2008. He is currently Chair of The Independent Advisory Panel to the UK City of Culture programme that awarded the title to Derry-Londonderry in 2013 and Hull for 2017.
Having written extensively for stage, screen and print, he has now put all this experience together to return to creative writing with the first of a series of novels published in January 2016. Phil will be talking about his career and his new novel Highbridge.
