About this event

Join Philippa Gregory at the top of the tower for a fascinating evening of entertaining historical insight and unforgettable storytelling as she launches her new novel, Boleyn Traitor. Philippa will be in conversation with fellow historian and novelist, Gareth Russell.

In Boleyn Traitor, Philippa Gregory returns to the Tudor court and a woman famously branded as a traitor, but whose real story was far more complex – the mysterious Jane Boleyn. Bringing the Boleyn traitor out of the shadows, this is an explosive story of one woman’s survival in the deadly dance of the Tudor Court.

Gareth Russell is a historian and broadcaster, whose books include “The Palace” and “Queen James,” as well as biographies of Queen Catherine Howard and of the Queen Mother.

There will be time for audience questions and book signing after the talk. Whether you’re a long-time fan or discovering Philippa for the first time, this promises to be a truly memorable night.

Event starts at 6.30pm sharp. Doors open at 6.00pm. Please arrive promptly to avoid any disappointment. Please bring ID on the night for entry to The News Building.
