Event description

Description

Doors/Drinks 7pm, Concert starts 8pm

International harp soloist Eleanor Turner curates and performs in this one-off concert of music by female composers and song-writers, from the 12th century abbess Hildegard of Bingen, to Icelandic electro-pop queen Björk.

Performers include renowned coloratura soprano Caroline Trutz and the inimitable entertainer Sam Hickman, a harpist and singer who hails from Cardiff...via Texas. Hear the World Premiere of a magical new work by Lauren Scott, Celestial Spirals, and New York jazz harpist Brandee Younger’s ‘Parisian Reflections’ for the first time this side of the pond.

Join us from 7pm for relaxed courtyard drinks and the chance to meet with the performers and other audience members before the concert starts.

Soft drinks free. The concert is most suitable for ages 13+ as there may be colourful language but it’s entirely up to your judgement. All are welcome! Under 18s free with a paying adult.

Ground level, good accessibility for wheelchairs for concert which is in the ‘Drawing Room’, but sadly no access to a certified disabled toilet at the moment.
