Event Details

Philosophy and theatre are twins. They emerged from the same place at the same time: Ancient Greece in the 6th Century BC. Since then, they have had a rich and colourful history of collaboration and conflict. This event offers a snapshot of that history, looking at particular examples, ancient and modern, to start us thinking about where they have been and where they might be going. A focus will be Nietzsche’s understanding of the significance of tragedy.
