Philosophy for Families Workshop
Date and time
Description
Would you eat a hamster? …and other questions!
Come and join us at Hughes Hall for an afternoon of discussing big ideas and interesting questions together in our Playground of Ideas. This workshop offers families the opportunity to take part in philosophical discussions – but that doesn’t mean sitting still. We’ll be moving around the room giving our opinions, changing our minds and showing our thinking, in a series of fun activities for curious minds of all ages to enjoy.
Refreshments and cake are provided.
This philosophy workshop has been developed from work at the Faculty of Education and is organised in collaboration with The Bridge, Hughes Hall. It will be led by Hughes Hall student Laura Kerslake. The event forms part of Cambridge Festival of Ideas (https://www.festivalofideas.cam.ac.uk/)
This event is best suited to children of around 8 and over, although younger siblings are welcome.
