Description

July’s PHINE Network event will take place on the morning of Friday 14th and will focus on mental health . Table sessions are as follows

  • Table 1: NDTMS, CDSN and Mental Health Treatment Need- Chris Young, Local NDTMS Quality Assurance and Development Lead, PHE

  • Table 2: Mental Health in the North East- Paul Collingwood, Senior Public Health Intelligence Analyst, PHE

  • Table 3: A Health Needs Assessment of Homelessness and Multiple and Complex Needs in Gateshead-Jill Harland, Speciality Registrar – Public Health, Gateshead Council

  • Table 4: Young people's mental health needs across the North East (on behalf of the 12 local authority public health teams)- Dr Siân Russell, Research Associate Newcastle University and Dr Emily Henderson, Research Fellow Durham University

  • Table 5: Mental health care behind the prison walls- a look at offender Mental Health Services/Enhanced Support Unit work- Richard Hand, Service Manager (Offender Health)Tees Esk and Wear Valley NHS Trust and Richard Wood Mental Health Case Manager (Specialised Commissioning Team) North Region, NE and Cumbria, NHS England

  • Table 6: TBC but will be from a colleague working within the Mental Health, Dementia and Neurology Health Intelligence Network

The plenary session will be presented by Michael Streather, Head of Mental Health & Wellbeing Intelligence, Public Health England and will include a look at the mental health JSNA profile and the accompanying Knowledge Guide alongside supporting products such as the MH prevention ROI tool

Refreshments and registration from 9am with a 9:30am prompt start to the agenda.
