How long it takes to complete the course and get my certificate?

Accepted Answer

The course will take 2 days of your time. 
The first day will be a pre-booked date that students will come and have the theoretical class + practice with a dummy arm. This will happen on one of those available dates that you can see in the link above.
On the second day, you'll come to do the 1-to-1

Is there any guarantee that I’ll have a job in your department after finishing the course?

This course will make you a trained professional phlebotomist and the certificates provided at the end will be the evidence of that. We can’t guarantee that you’ll get a job here or on any other employer, because selection’s processes are complex and based in many different aspects and guidelines.

Do I need to have any experience in healthcare to do this course?

Accepted Answer

This course was designed for every person who wants to become a phlebotomist. You don't need to have previous experience in phlebotomy, nursing on anything related with healthcare.

Is there any possibilities to get work experience or do voluntary work in your department?

Accepted Answer

Our Trust has some options for voluntary positions, but none of them in clinical working. For more information you can check our website.
