Phoenix from the ashes: How do we create a new social chapter post-Brexit?
Tuesday 27 September, 6 - 7.15pm, Comedy Central, 17 Edward Pavilion, Albert Dock, Liverpool L3 4AF
This event will discuss how a new social chapter can be developed to adapt to a labour force that has changed since the 1990’s, and to Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union. Flexible and remote working has exponentially increased and this poses challenges as well as opportunities for EU workers. Yet Brexit means uncertainty for British workers abroad who have chosen to take advantage of flexible working and free movement. A new social chapter to protect workers rights at home, and for our citizens abroad, and a new way of looking at employer- employee relations, is needed.
This event is in partnership with the IPA, the Involvement and Participation Association.
