Event description

Phonics, Grammar, Reading & Writing in KS2 MFL

Primary schools are now expected to teach Languages to all classes in Key Stage 2, ensuring that teaching focuses on substantial progress in one language.

Phonics, grammar, reading and writing are many of the main building blocks of the Key Stage 2 Programme of Study for Languages and the elements of the curriculum highlighted by last year’s Teaching Schools Council MFL Pedagogy Review.

This course is suitable for anyone involved in the delivery of Key Stage 2 Languages.

“You can never understand one language until you understand at least two.”

Geoffrey Willams
