Phonics Screening Workshop

We look forward to welcoming your child for a fun and educational workshop designed to help them learn more about the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check that will take place next June. In this session, we will explore how the phonics screener works, the types of words they will encounter, and the key skills needed to succeed.

We’ll look at:

• How to blend sounds to read real and nonsense words
• Common phonics patterns and tricky sounds
• Have a go at a practice phonics screener test
