Over 3 Tuesday evenings you will learn how to make a traditional photo album from scratch, with the aim to send you off with your new book and the knowledge on how to make more at home.
This book can be used as a photo album, to store printed ephemera, as a memory book or as a portfolio for a specific set of prints or project(what i use them for!). The binding has compensation stubs built into it to eliminate the book developing a wedge when items are added to it. Perfect for wedding albums, print presentation and storage or for storing items safely. We will insert protective glassine tissue sheets in between each page so anything added to it will be protected.
Previous experience in bookbinding is recommended for this class but not necessary. We recommend our 5 week introductory evening class , but again its not essential.
Coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided.
There is plenty of free parking outside the Unit and we are a 10 minute walk from Hastings station.
