In addition to Photo // Synthesis, the audio visual installation at Capital House on 4 & 5 October, Jersey composer Jack Chown will present new work from his upcoming second album; the follow-up to 2024’s A Room To Breathe.
About Photo // Synthesis
Jersey composer Jack Chown (kiskadee) and digital artist Neal Coghlan (Aszyk) are two London-based artists who in this first showing of a new collaborative work have been exploring themes of transformation, nature, and liminality to present a multi-sensory experience that will immerse the audience in a space where organic and electronic elements intertwine.
The installation integrates spatial audio with responsive visuals inspired by ecological practices and conservation as well as soundscapes that incorporate ambient textures, processed field recordings from coastal landscapes, and organic electronic compositions.
