Is it free?

The event itself is free, however we do have optional paid-for activities which you can add on when registering. You can only book a maximum of two tickets per admission type.

Question 2

Do I need to complete the whole 24 hours?

Accepted Answer

No. You do need to be with us from the start of the event, but can leave at any point. If you don’t complete the 24 hours, you won’t receive your free gift.

Question 3

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

You’ll need to bring your own camera/video gear, but we suggest waterproof clothing, comfortable shoes, a water bottle and food. We recommend not bringing too much equipment, especially if you intend to complete the full 24 hours. Your gear is your responsibility and should not be left unattended.

How do I enter the competitions?

To enter the photography and videography competitions announced throughout the day, please email your chosen images to social@bright.uk.com. T&Cs will be included in your event guide on the day including closing dates.

To enter the Super 24 challenge on Instagram, please post using #photovideo24

Question 5

Is food and drink provided?

Accepted Answer

No, but there are plenty of places to get food and drink around the city.

Question 6

What time does it start?

Accepted Answer

Doors open for signing in from 10:30am. You must have a ticket to attend, there will be no registration on the day. The event itself starts at 12 noon.

Question 7

Is it weather dependent?

Accepted Answer

The event will go ahead in most conditions. However some of the activities may be subject to cancellation due to extreme weather.

Cancellation policy

As there are limited spaces, if you have already registered please cancel at least 48 hours before the event. If you have booked a paid-for activity and we are unable to find a replacement prior to the event, we will not be able to issue a refund. Please contact saffronosborn@bright.uk.com

Question 9

Do I need to book a hotel room?

Accepted Answer

If you want to rest your legs, feel free to join the Photo Video 24 team at HQ in The Graduate. If you wish to sleep, you will need to book a hotel room. There are lots of hotels around the city.

Question 10

Where do I park?

Accepted Answer

Unless you have booked a hotel room at The Graduate, no parking is available. We would recommend you use the city’s Park and Ride services, as parking in the city centre is limited and expensive. You are responsible for your own travel arrangements.

Can I bring my friends?

They will have to register to be a part of the event.

Why are there different admission ticket types?

Accepted Answer

Different admission tickets are in place simply to allow the organisers to balance the activities between photo and video. Each ticket type gives access to everything organised within the 24-hour period. You can only book a maximum of two tickets per admission type.

Question 13

What happens if admission tickets or paid-for activities are sold out but I still want to attend?

Unfortunately we have a limited number of tickets available however, you can join our waiting list for any cancelled spots.

Question 14

What happens if I change my mind about an activity I've booked on the day?

Accepted Answer

If you have changed your mind about an activity please let a member of the Photo Video 24 team know upon signing in on the day so they can release this to another attendee. Refunds will not be possible for cancellations within 48-hours of the event or during.
