Phoebe Kiely, Photographer

Kiely (b.1991) lives and works in the UK. She is currently undertaking a commission for West Coast Photo 2021. She received her BA from Manchester School of Art (2015). Her work has been shown internationally with exhibitions in Liverpool, London and Bulgaria. Recent award nominations are the Paul Huf and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation Award. They were my landscape, her first book, was published by MACK (2018).

Daniel T Wheeler, Photographer, Educator, Musician and owner of The Photo Parlour

His work mainly springs from emotional relationships with people, the landscape and the history of areas in which he works. The necessity to socially engage with his subjects is at the root of his work. Often this means that Daniel will engrain himself within communities and develop a spiritual, historical and cultural understanding of the areas in which he makes pictures. The tactile nature of his work radiates this approach and produces distinctive and emotive images.

He currently works as a lecturer at Nottingham Trent University and DeMontfort University as well as running the lab and supporting the photographic community at The Photo Parlour, Nottingham and The Art House, Wakefield.
