Photography at Night - Light Painting at Barr Beacon
Event Information
About this Event
Join us for an early evening of photography in the dark! Light painting specialists UK Knights will be joining us at Barr Beacon to conjure stunning images from the darkness using light trails, wire wool and a whole host of creativity!
Light painting is a photographic technique which utilises a slow shutter speed and a light source to paint pictures and bring a scene to life! On Saturday 16th November we will spend a few hours under the cover of darkness to create some vivid scenes of our own. It really is a tremendously fun style of photography and we hope to put on a night that will appeal both to those with experience and those who have never tried it before.
What you will need! Because we will be taking pictures in the dark, you will need to have both a tripod and a camera with which you are able to adjust your shutter speed. Please also wrap up warm and a torch may come in useful! There will still be light in the air when we meet so that we will be able to see each other when we introduce ourselves!
We will be meeting at the War Memorial car park. It is a 2 minute walk from the car park, where we will be focusing our photography session, so there won't be much walking involved!
Everyone is very welcome to attend this event, whatever your level of photography, and we look forward to seeing you there!
