Photography Skills Workshop: Composition & Storytelling

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Walkden Gardens, Sale, this session focuses on the creative side of photography - how to use lens choice, light and composition together to tell a story and bring depth to every image you take.

📍 Location: Walkden Gardens, Sale, Greater Manchester (easily accessible via the M60, bus, or Metrolink)
🕐 Start time: 10am
📷 Equipment required: Camera with zoom lens or interchangeable lenses. This can include phone cameras with multiple lenses (fully charged batteries and plenty of memory space recommended).

There’s no complicated jargon or pressure to be technical. Instead, you’ll receive clear, simple guidance on how to make thoughtful choices that elevate your photography. You’ll learn how small adjustments in focal length, angle, framing, and light can completely transform your shots.

During the workshop, you’ll explore:
