Photography Social - Eat & Teach
Date and time
A Photography Social Meet to share practice and learn from each other. Get together with like minded people and enjoy a meal.
About this event
We thought of a new concept to bring together - people interested in photography and topics that matter locally and further a field.
The 'EAT & TEACH' is not a classroom learning environment, it is a rather relaxed gathering to discuss photography related topics, share working practice, give constructive feedback and encourage each other to strive for better images.
You are welcome to bring in samples of your work or your portfolio. You may have questions on how to work your camera, bring it in and someone will be able to help.
And as so often, conversations will shift to all sorts things to talk about….and that is good and welcomed.
What we have planned for the evening?
We start at 6pm, get some drinks and chat. At this point we can look at work and get gear out if we have to. About 7.30 we will eat. Your ticket will get you a FREE pizza of choice and a FREE drink. By that time we should have warmed to each other and hopefully conversations are in full flow.
People are welcome to exchange contact details, maybe it is something that could continue on a regular basis.
This event is in partnership with eyende…beyond seeing and Mike Klencher will be your host for a final time with the Essex Coast Workshops programme as part of the Essex Path to Prosperity and funded by the Coastal Communities Fund.
Mike has hosted a variety of workshops and walks, even a cycle event. Having started in early March it is with great pleasure to come back to Manningtree for this evening.
We are very fortunate to offer this event at the RED LION, award winning, traditional pub in Manningtree.
And here the little bit of small print.
This event is for 18+ only.
You can only book one ticket per person. We have only 10 places available. You will be contacted prior to the event, to check that you are still able to attend and to make your pizza choice from the menu provided.
A the end of the evening we would appreciate you could complete a feedback form.
