Step Into the Frame of Your Own Story

Have you ever felt like the world is moving too fast, and you’re missing the little details that make it beautiful? This summer, I invite you to stop, breathe, and see. Whether you're just starting out or you're a keen photographer looking to refine your creative eye, Photofeature’s Summer Photography Tuition Workshops are here to guide you gently and confidently into a deeper, more mindful approach to photography.

Join me—an award-winning photographer and a Leica Camera Ambassador—for a hands-on, eye-opening experience where you’ll learn to really look, truly feel, and genuinely capture what’s around you. No matter your camera—whether it’s a Leica, another trusted companion, or even your phone—you will come away not just with better photos, but with a clearer sense of what makes you you behind the lens.

Why These Workshops Are Different

In an age of instant everything, we often forget the importance of waiting. Of stillness. Of tuning into the subtle moments. My workshops are about slowing down and finding your photographic voice—while still having a jolly good time doing it.

Here’s what you’ll discover through my approach:

  • Take time to really see what is in front of you Learn to strip back distractions and observe the world with fresh eyes.
  • Learn to be patientGreat photographs aren’t taken—they’re made. And that requires time.
  • Wait for the photograph to happen in front of you Let the moment reveal itself. It always does, if you're watching.
  • Be prepared From knowing your kit to anticipating light and action—be ready for anything.
  • Stop the world Use your camera as a pause button. Step out of the rush and into creative flow.
  • Breathe to your own rhythm Your photos should feel like you. Find your tempo and shoot from the heart.
  • Allow time to pass Let stories unfold. Observe how light and shadow shift and speak.
  • Create your own peace Photography is my therapy, my meditation, and my connection to the world rolled into one. Make it yours.

I’m the founder of Photofeature, an award-winning photographer, a Leica Camera Ambassador, and I’ve spent my life helping others fall in love with photography all over again.

With years of experience capturing stories, teaching creatives, and finding the beauty in everyday moments, I now offer something more than a class. These workshops are invitations—to slow down, to look deeper, and to shoot with soul.

If you’ve ever felt intimidated by the “rules,” overwhelmed by your gear, or unsure where to begin—don’t worry. I’ll meet you with practical wisdom, a good sense of humour, and a strong cuppa if needed.
