Get to know some of Walsall’s unique local landscapes through your camera lens on our photography walk with Alishah Iqbal. Whether you are a seasoned photographer exploring new places or want some guidance on how to get the most out of photographing wildlife around you, come along for a new insight into wildlife in Walsall through this supportive and friendly environment.

What you can expect:

  • An introduction by photographer Alishah Iqbal, she will show some of her stunning images and provide tips and inspiration for your own photography.
  • The chance to capture some of Walsall’s unique landscapes and wildlife including rare heathland and woodland of Pelsall Common and Turners Wood.
  • Explore the ways you can share your photographs and information on how your images can support local landscapes.
  • Opportunity to learn more about Wild Walsall and how you can get involved in the project.

Suitable for all ages and photography enthusiasts. Bring along a camera, whether that is your phone, digital or film - whatever you feel comfortable using. The walk will be 45mins - 1hour approx, on easy woodland and flat terrain. Refreshments provided, car parking on site. Nearest bus stop at Pelsall Cenotaph 2 mins walk away.
