Many young people are struggling with their mental health. This has been exacerbated with the Coronavirus pandemic. if you would like to find out how young people can access mental health support without wait times them please come and find out how Kooth not only offers counselling support 365 days a year, but also peer support and self help tools.
Kooth is a FREE, safe and anonymous online Mental Wellbeing Community for young people. It is available through smart phone, tablet or computer and features activities, self help articles, discussion boards and a team of accredited counsellors and emotional wellbeing practitioners who provide guided and outcome-focused support for each individual.
Kooth is commissioned by the Local Authority & CCG (Clinical Commissioning Groups), in Blackburn with Darwen and is available for young people aged 10-18, (up to 25 for SEND)
In Cumbria the age range is 11-18.
It is available to over 90% of young people in England and 60% of Wales.
