Please save the date to join us for 'Innovating for a Healthier Future' - the 2019 Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust and University of Portsmouth Research and Innovation Conference.

This second annual celebration of collaborative research and innovation projects involving PHT and UoP will focus on building and extending collaborations to address some of the biggest health and wellbeing challenges, in particular those where future and emerging technologies have a role to play.

Expert speakers from clinical and academic teams will offer their expertise and highlight opportunities for new multi-discipline/sector teams to work together to develop research and innovation projects. Patients will offer their perspectives on how this research has impacted upon them, and we hope to announce soon an exciting keynote presentation as part of the final session. In addition, there will be workshops offering the chance to explore key areas in greater depth.

The conference is also a celebration of successes. Posters submitted by UoP and PHT researchers will be presented, with a small number selected to present their work in '3 minute thesis' style, and prizes will be awarded at the end of the event. There will also be opportunities for networking during and after the event as we seek to establish and expand research collaborations between PHT and UoP.
