Hosted by People in Health West of England, these sessions offer researchers and public contributors the time and space to read and write, whether it be an article, funding application, project proposal, translate documents into accessible language, review submissions, address peer reviews or any other patient and public involvement and engagement activity.
Members of the PHWE team will be available to respond to queries and/or direct your query to an appropriate person.
It may be possible to offer a parallel session for those interested in finding collaborators and/or discuss an upcoming funding scheme with the view of submitting a bid - please contact the organiser, catherine.brown@bristol.ac.uk, with your enquiry. Advance notice of at least 4 weeks will be required for advertising and preparation of a parallel session.
Open to all, including public contributors (current or future!!)
Note that each session will be held in a different building of the main University of Bristol campus and confirmation will be sent out to registered participants at least one week prior with full location details and directions.
Sessions begin at 9.00 and finish at 16.30. You do not have to stay for the full day, but are welcome to come and go as required. Refreshments will be provided but do bring your own lunch.
We cannot cover travel or other expenses. Please note that public contributors will be attending on a volunteer (i.e. unpaid) basis.
