Event description
The Phyllis Bedells Bursary recognises talented young dancers who have achieved Distinction in their RAD Advanced 1 Examination.

About this event

This bursary, supported by the Mary Kipps Bequest, is awarded annually and has a value of up to £1,000 to be used to further the winner's training. Payment can be offset against existing tuition fees or against material and equipment.

A choreographic award is also presented, giving the judges a formal opportunity to recognise the best of the Dancer’s Own choreography. A monetary prize of £250 is given to the recipient of the Choreographic Award thanks to a bequest from the estate of the late Dr Ivor Guest.

Content

The 2021 bursary will take place on Sunday 31 October in front of a small audience and a panel of two judges. It will consist of;
