About this webinar

How do we accurately assess and manage patients in the community who are at risk of falls?

Join physiotherapists Natalie Andrews, Falls Prevention Co-ordinator for Rehabilitation and Therapy Services (East and West Kent), and Rachel Ellis, Clinical Operational Manager, West Kent Rehab, KCHFT to find out hints and tips particularly when preparing for falls-related interview questions.

This session aims to increase your confidence in answering relevant interview questions, by improving awareness of national guidelines in relation to falls, including increasing knowledge of:

  • When a falls assessment is indicated for a patient you see in the community setting
  • What factors to include in your falls assessment and why
  • Falls management options - potential treatment, strategies and referral options
  • Post falls care - procedures and after-care

About the webinar series

This webinar series, run by the CSP South East Coast regional network, is offering graduates and final year students some support with your transition into the workplace. We know it can be a challenge to get that first role, and the region is keen to support you in developing your interview skills.

This is also suitable for you if you are a final year student wishing to get yourself ready for future interviews.

This webinar series is open to graduates and final year students across the country. We want to help you where we can and support you in what should be an exciting time!

Don't worry, this isn't about any tests or exposing lack of knowledge, these webinars are a chance to hear first-hand advice and experiences on developing your interview skills from physios and experts who want to see our grad physios flourish in the professional world.

The series plans to offer sessions covering a range of specialisms, including MSK specific, Cardio-resp specific, Neuro specific and Frailty specific to name a few... Network members from both the NHS and Private sector are giving their time and experience to share with you thoughts on how to stand out at interview.

Some info about the series:

  • Free to member and non-member physio graduates and third year students
  • Once you register, a webinar link will be sent a few days before the event
  • Both acute and community working will be included
