This free workshop invites you to be part of the future development of the Physiotherapy Network. This half day session will be exploring the achievements of the network so far, exploring recent changes and difficulties within the profession, a review of the workstreams and their workplans and planning for the next Physiotherapy CPD Event which will be in early 2017.
The ongoing development and success of the network is dependent on the levels of engagement from staff from the profession, therefore we hope you take this opportunity to get involved personally.
Steve Tolan, Head of Practice at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, was the guest speaker at the Physiotherapy CPD Event in March 2016 and described his view of the network within Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust:
“It was a genuine pleasure to be invited to speak at your last professional network event. I was impressed at the support the organisation was providing for development and networking across sites and teams. This is something which is too often not available across the UK. These opportunities should be highly valued, particularly as they have an essential role in enhancing patient experience, patient safety and clinical effectiveness within health services. I would always urge physiotherapists to make the most of these kinds of opportunities as they arise – not least to avoid them being lost in the future.”
