Pictur-Esk Lealholm Guided Walk
Wed 9 August 2017, 10:00 – 13:00 BST
Part of the North York Moors National Park’s Guided Walks Programme. From picturesque Lealholm, Les and Margie Atkinson lead you on a 6.3-mile walk over the Esk on stepping stones, then through woods high above Crunkly Gill.
After crossing farmland and open moorland you drop down to re-cross the Esk and climb steeply again, with wonderful views of the Esk Valley to Lealholm Side, before finally returning by an old stone trod.
Steep, strenuous hills and stiles.
Packed lunch required. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Sorry, no dogs. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Our guided walks are free, although a suggested donation of £2 is welcome, helping us to care for the National Park.
Booking essential. For more information call 01439 772738.
