Event description

Description

How do you tell a story through images? In this picture book masterclass, award-winning illustrator Elīna Brasliņa – who illustrated Rūta Briede’s The Dog Who Found Sorrow – will discuss aspects of visual storytelling such as character design, setting, technique and composition. Participants will have a chance to create an early draft of their own picture book about tackling difficult emotions.

This is a session for adults. Materials provided.
