On Saturday 22nd July 2017, commencing at 5.30pm, the North Wales Dragons are walking from Colwyn Bay pier to Llandudno pier to raise money for the Cath Lab and the Cardiac Care Unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital, North Wales and would love you to walk with them for a charity of your choice.
The walk will mark the first anniversary of when our Co-founder Chris Roberts was rushed to hospital with a heart attack and was cared for by both departments, Chris had this to say about the care he received "I would like to offer my heart-felt gratitude to all the amazing staff at Glan Clwyd Hospital, particularly to those in the Cath lab and the Cardiac Care Unit. Particular thanks must go to Dr Subkovis, Dr Das, Shelley, Nige, Tina and all the rest of the backroom staff. Thank you for saving my life."
The Dragons would love your support by walking with them on the 5.7 mile walk, walking alongside the golden sands of the scenic North Wales coast and finishing at the pier in the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno.
A walk which would take approximately two hours, you can walk with us and raise money for a charity or cause close to your heart.
And, what better way to help maintain a healthy heart than to take in an early evening stroll and all for great causes!
We would love you to wear sports shirts if possible, football, rugby etc, or charity tee shirts of your choice, above all we want the occasion to be as bright as possible as we wish to bring as many different charities together from near and far!
