NOTE: THIS IS AN INFORMATION PAGE: WE ARE NO LONGER USING EVENTRBRITE FOR PILATES BOOKINGS

We have regular Friday sessions with Neuro-Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor Sasha Baggaley at the Pollock Pavillion, Ferry Road Edinburgh, from 2-3pm.

These are delivered in blocks, generally 8-12 weeks in length. Monday 2018 sessions starts 12th January.

Booking is recommended as places are limited. Please see Branch Website for booking details: http://www.edinburghparkinsons.org/regular-activities/pilates or e-mail: sasha@edinburghparkinsons.org

Why is Pilates Recommended?

Core stability is the foundation of Pilates. It aims to promote strength, stamina, balanced muscle development, flexibility and increased range of motion for the joints. As your core strength develops so does stability throughout your entire torso, which can help with some of the mobility and postural issues of PD. Additionally, reducing the effort placed on the body during everyday activities can help reduce fatigue levels.
