PILATES SESSIONS ARE LIMITED TO 10 SPOTS PER CLASS SO RESERVE YOUR PLACE EARLY.

Class Rate: £8.50 per session (plus Eventbrite booking fee)

10 Class Package: £75 (plus Eventbrite booking fee) - SAVE £16 compared to booking individual classes



Why Pilates?


Pilates is an excellent choice if you want to strengthen your entire body in a low impact, but highly targeted way. In the Pilates Matwork classes, we focus on developing core strength as well as toning and working the lower body, arms and back – all whilst minimising impact on the joints.


The Pilates exercise system was founded by German-born fitness guru Joseph Pilates in the 1920s, when he devised a unique sequence of movements that worked the mind and muscles in harmony.


Who is it for?


Pilates is a brilliant option for people of all ages and fitness levels.


In this series, we will very much be working with beginners in mind.


Pilates is for you if you want to:

  • Increase core stability

  • Benefit from total body conditioning

  • Correct muscle imbalances

  • Improve posture


If you have any specific health concerns or injuries, it’s advisable to seek advice from your GP or health professional before getting started with classes.



How long is the series?


This is a 10 session Pilates matwork series, enabling you to hone your practice and really start to feel and see the benefits. With regular practice, you'll notice a real difference in your core strength and muscle activation.


Class Duration: 50 minutes (followed by BarreConcept class)



Can I attend individual sessions rather than the whole series?


Subject to capacity, you may be able to attend individual sessions instead of the whole series. It is, however, recommended that you attend a full series for optimal results and to really track your progression.



How many people are in a class?


Classes are limited to 10 participants to ensure proper care and attention is given to everyone. This allows a more personalised approach and the ability to check / correct technique so participants get the most out of each workout – plus the education and confidence to exercise on their own.


What do I need to bring?


Please bring your own exercise mat and a bottle of water. Pilates can be done barefoot or with sports socks on. There is no impact on joints so trainers are not required.
