Meet Your Instructor - Kaysha Thomas
Kaysha Thomas, a Nutritional Therapist and Pilates Teacher, specializes in nutrition for performance and eating disorder recovery. Her journey with Pilates began in her early 20s following repeated injuries sustained while running. She quickly discovered how Pilates not only enhanced her physical strength and performance but also deepened her connection to her body.
Certified through BASI Pilates UK in 2016, Kaysha continues to expand her expertise by attending regular workshops. She is a proud member of J Pilates Associates under the mentorship of Joanne Cobbe, a prominent educator in the Pilates industry.
Kaysha’s approach to Pilates is driven by her passion for body liberation and viewing movement as an essential aspect of self-care. Her classes are designed to empower and challenge you in a nurturing way. With a deep love for the Pilates mat repertoire, Kaysha excels in breaking down each movement, fostering a profound understanding and allowing for modifications to accommodate your unique needs.
Please note: This class is not suitable if you are currently pregnant or less than 6 months postpartum. Because this is an online group class without individual form checks, I strongly recommend waiting 6 months postpartum and have been cleared for general exercise. If you are pregnant or newly postpartum, I'd encourage you to look for a dedicated pre/postnatal Pilates class where the movements can be tailored to your needs.
