We will take our time and in this warm and welcoming space we'll start by getting to know each other a little.
Then I'll guide you through bringing awareness to mind and body, letting go of tension and feeling the basics of Pilates on your own body.
After a break, we will then work on building support for your spine and moving with ease and balance.
We then have some time left to chat and I can answer any questions you may have.
You'll leave with a smile on your face, positivity in your heart and a goody bag on your arm.
Island Pilates is a beautiful space in Menai Bridge. Opened by Emily in 2021, Island Pilates maintains the highest of teaching standards and works with all abilities to ensure a safe and comfortable form of exercise. The studio offers Mat and Reformer classes as well as one to one sessions.
A bit about me! My name is Julia and I am a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 40 years experience, 27 of those specialising in teaching Pilates. I've worked with people from all walks of life and with a wide range of reasons as to why they have sought out Pilates. Back Pain is a very common reason for people to search for Pilates, whatever their level of fitness and I will look forward to helping you understand your body and pain better, giving you strategies and hopefully allowing you to re- discover your movement joy.
