Pilates at Leander Club involves recruiting and challenging the deep postural muscles in the abdomen and lower shoulder area. Current research has shown that improving these deep muscles will prevent and help to resolve low back pain and poor posture.

Important information
- Wear clothing you feel comfortable moving around and stretching in.
- All mats and equipment are provided.
- Leander Fitness Classes and Societies are provided exclusively for Full, Club and Spouse Members. On this occasion, Members’ guests and family members are not able to be included.
- All participants must complete the Leander Club Medical Questionnaire & Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form, before taking a class. The documentation can be downloaded from Leander Club's website or at Reception.
- Once completed, please email it to Max Watson at members.events@leander.co.uk or place it in the fitness class forms post box, inside the Clubhouse entrance.
