Pop up pottery is going to The Noisy Lobster! Join us in the upstairs restaurant with beautiful views across Avon Beach, you are sure to feel relaxed and inspired.
You’ll be introduced to the techniques you’ll use to craft your clay through a short demo. In this pottery class you will learn the hand building pinch method to sculpt your own nature inspired clay vessel. This process is slow and methodical, taking your time to enjoy immersing yourself in creativity. This tactile art form engages both mind and body in a way that is meditative, restorative and deeply healing.
You can also indulge in a delicious baked treat and drink of your choice (vegan and GF options available). The perfect way to start the day! (simply add a note when booking for your preference).
Your finished creations will be taken back to the studio and fired with a special ash based glaze ready to collect at a later date.
- Class sizes are small & welcoming with a maximum of 10 students per group, ensuring plenty of tuition. Classes are suitable for over 16s only.
- Dress for mess! Bring an apron if you have one. Short nails are recommended.
- Your pottery will be glazed and fired, ready for you to collect 6 weeks later from The Noisy Lobster. (or delivery for P&P costs).
