This a full day face-to-face session at Pinderfields Hospital Trust HQ and Education Centre.
The content covered will be the same as the content in the individual classes (1-4), but with the opportunity to learn it all in one day, including:
- Labour and birth.
- Coping strategies and pain relief
- Induction of labour and interventions
- Recovery after birth
- Looking after your physical and mental health
- Realistic expectations of newborns
- Safe sleeping and coping with crying
- Information about practical cares of baby, such as nappy changing and bathing
- Infant feeding
There will be refreshment breaks and time for lunch so please bring something with you as refreshments are not provided. Alternatively, vending machines are available and the canteen is a short walk away within the main hospital.

Please book in your name registered on BadgerNet - these classes are for women and partners booked to have their baby with Mid Yorkshire Hospitals Trust or who see a Mid Yorkshire Community Midwife. If you do not fit this criteria your booking will be cancelled.
