This a full day, face to face session at Pinderfields Hospital Trust HQ and Education Centre.
The content covered, will be the same as the individual classes (1-4) but gives you a chance to learn everything in one day including:
- Labour and birth
- Coping strategies and pain relief options
- Induction of labour and intervention
- First few hours after birth, skin to skin, infant feeding and bonding
- Becoming a family and caring for baby, information about what happens following birth, realistic expectations of having a newborn
- Safe sleeping for baby and coping with crying
- Information about practical cares of baby, such as nappy changing and bathing
There will be regular refreshment breaks with vending machines available. We suggest bringing lunch/snacks with you, or alternatively, the main canteen is available in the main hospital a short walk away.

Please book only ONE ticket which will admit you and your companion.
Spaces are limited, therefore please only book a place if you are certain that you can attend and please CANCEL your place via Eventbrite if you cannot attend.
Please book in your name registered on BadgerNet - these classes are for women and partners booked to have their baby with Mid Yorkshire Hospitals Trust or who see a Mid Yorkshire Community Midwife. If you do not fit this criteria your booking will be cancelled.
