Pine needle basketry weaving workshop provides an opportunity to try a new skill you can put your hand to when foraging in the woodlands
Pine needle basketry can be a new project you can learn this winter, where you can add to your woodland foraging and craft skillset.
On the day you will be learning some of the history behind weaving with pine needles and its origins as well as safe and sustainable foraging. The technique around using pine needles for this session will focus on a coiling technique to create a simple small basket, materials needed, identification of and where to find pine needles.
If the weather is nice we might do the weaving outside so please bring suitable layers of warm clothing.
No dogs.
