Event description
An informative and practical workshop exploring the technique of pinhole photography, guided by expert photographer Duncan Shepherd MA

About this event

Introduction

In the modern era of highly automated, digital imaging, some photographers and artists have rediscovered the appeal of simple traditional photographic techniques, stripping away the technology in search of a purer, more fundamental experience. ‘Pinhole’ photography, a process by which an image is made without the use of a lens, is one such method, with many practitioners designing and building their own cameras.
