Learn from the head of our savouries team what goes into the crisp pastry and juicy fillings of a proper Pink Lane pie.

This hands on, full day course will cover a range of pastry techniques including hot water crust pork pies, the secrets to making our flaky sausage roll pastry and pie cases to suit a range of fillings.

Based in our fully kitted out workshops space in Baker’s Yard, 10 minutes from Gosforth High Street, we’ll make a selection of meat and veggie pies (with a break for lunch to eat some of them!). You’ll learn the techniques, tips and recipes to recreate a range of delicious savoury bakes at home.

You’ll be welcomed with tea, coffee and sweet pastries and after a fun full day of hands on making leave with your bakes and a goodie bag of recipes and more.
