This is the first session and new activities will be added to this eventbrite page. We will have loads of opportunities to get active, try new activities, meet others and make new friendships, improve mental health and connect with nature in a safe and fun environment. These are all female instructors unless mentioned otherwise, these sessions are for women recovering from breast cancer to connect.

The Outdoor Partnership have teamed up with Kerry from IslandSUP to enjoy a Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) suitable for beginners or intermediates, come and learn some strokes, balancing, safety and for sure some splashing about!

The session is funded by Pink Ribbon.

Please note:

No prior experience is needed although you will need to be able to swim confidently (e.g. at least 50m)

  • Please bring swimwear and a towel
  • All wetsuits and equipment will be provided
  • Please bring warm clothes to change into after the activity (there is a changing room)
  • Please bring any personal medication
  • Please check with your GP if you are unsure whether this is suitable activity

Building capacity to support local participation, performance, skills development (first time experiences – through to long term sustainability and repeat activities) and employment of all ages.

Enhancing the partner delivery model to develop the current framework across the rest of Wales and throughout the UK.

Development of quality products to provide enjoyable outdoor experiences
