These are all female instructors unless mentioned otherwise, these sessions are for women recovering from breast cancer to connect.
The Outdoor Partnership have teamed up with Karma Surf to enjoy multiple surfing sessions, suitable for beginners or intermediates, come and learn some new skills, have fun and climb on up!
The session is funded by Pink Ribbon. Please don’t waste spaces, cancel on eventbrite if you can’t attend, so someone else can fill the space. If you worry about attending these sessions on your own, although it is full of amazingly lovely women, we also understand it can be intimidating, so feel free to book a friend on if this means you will brave it!
Please note:
No prior experience is needed
- Please wear trainers and clothes to do sport in (avoid shorts, crop tops or jeans
- It is changing by the van.
- There are public toilets nearby, but these are not available for changing in.
- Karma Seas will provide wetsuits and surf boards
- Spare warm top and waterproofs
- Please bring any personal medication
- £2-3 car park for 2 hours (cash)
- Cafe and seating area nearby
- Surf session is suitable for all (they have adapted boards if required)
- Please check with your GP if you are unsure whether this is suitable activity
